How it works

Norton's Theorem Circuit:

We have the following values:

Norton Current (I_N) = 6 A

Norton Resistance (R_N) = 3 Ω

Load Resistance (R_L) = 6 Ω

Calculate the Load Current (I_L)

We use the formula for I_L:

I_L = I_N × (R_N / (R_N + R_L))

Substitute the values:

I_L = 6 A × (3 Ω / (3 Ω + 6 Ω))

Simplify:

I_L = 6 × (3 / 9)
