These are both SERIES CIRCUITS. Why? Because I have "broken the circuit" and have put the meter INLINE with the circuit. I am not reading ACROSS any devce…

How it works

These are both SERIES CIRCUITS.

Why?

Because I have "broken the circuit" and have put the meter INLINE with the circuit. I am not reading ACROSS any devce (bulb, motor, resistor, etc.).
